This is easier than you might think! Perfect for adding to sparkling water for a cocktail or to hot water for tea.
~1/4 cup (1 oz) ginger
2 cups water
1/4-1/2 tsp stevia leaves or powder
Simply slice ginger. Add all ingredients to a pot, bring to a boil and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain and let cool. For a sweeter syrup add more stevia. For a more dilute ginger flavor, add more water.
Store in fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for later use. Better yet, freeze as ice cubes and add ginger-cubes to spice up a beverage!
