Collards for Breakfast

collard green smoothieLooked in the fridge this morning and saw some collard greens that needed to be eaten…so I threw them in my morning smoothie!  The recipe was delic! and equally enjoyed by my other morning cohorts.

makes 1-2 servings
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
3-5 collard green leaves
1-2 tb chia seeds
2 cups of water

Blend in a blender on high until smooth and chunkless.  Drink with reckless abandonment.
