Sugar Free Personalities

The SuperHero.

This is a good personality to choose if you have Candida albicans, diabetes, or just need a serious rebalancing of your blood sugar levels.  Avoid all sugar, refined flours, whole wheat flour, artificial sweeteners, fruit juice, and high sugar fruits completely.  Keep in mind that for most, this is a temporary stage to be at until health issues are under control.

Acceptable sweeteners: alcohol sugars, stevia extract (liquid and powder forms) and whole leaf stevia, luo han guo, yacon syrup, and yacon powder.

Acceptable fruit: grapefruit, kiwi, lemon, limes, and currants. (Avoid all other fruits, as they have the potential to feed Candida and/or elevate blood sugar levels.  This includes apples, oranges, dates, pomegranates, etc.). Optional: include berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)

Acceptable flours: garbanzo or fava bean flour, coconut flour, almond flour and other nut and seed flours.  Learn more: wheat-free-flours

Still Sweet.

Cut the sugar in half.  Avoid products that have sugar in the first 5 ingredients and gradually decrease sugar in recipes by one-quarter to one-third the amount called for in recipes and wherever else you use sugar. As in Au Natural, avoid all products made with high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.
