How to Spot Sugar

I spy something white and golden, and powedery and liquid and granulated and….

Cutting back on sugar means more than avoiding the word “sugar” and more than just eliminating desserts. Hidden and added sugars can be found in bread, canned foods, salad dressing, and even chicken stock and mayonnaise.

I’m not saying don’t ever eat the stuff (although we can go there if you want) – I indulge occasionally – but for heaven’s sake, do you really need sugar in every meal?!!!??? Save it for the special occasions and rare treats.  Your body will be so much happier, and so will you – believe me.
